This is a gorgeous rolling island. I’m so glad I took a chance on this as there was only one written review when I bought it. This is a heavy duty piece of furniture. I’ve never seen engineered wood so thick and solid. Solid is the name of the game here for every piece. This is a heavy duty cart that can withstand hundreds of pounds of pressure. A picture in the product’s gallery contains the weight limits for each main part and they exceeded everything else I was looking at. The shelves are deep and adjustable with lots of storage space. Wheels roll smoothly and lock. It has a drop leaf table that, unlike others with cheap metal, has thick wood supports that are so sturdy I don’t worry about the drop leaf table collapsing. It is so hard to find anything of quality without breaking the bank. This is a true gem.Also, this is the only piece of furniture in 20 years that my husband built without swearing. He said the instructions were straightforward and detailed, the included tool is a keeper, and there were extra screws and other small parts.FYI the two extra pieces of wood mentioned in the other review are used to protect the furniture during shipping.

I love my new island. It was very easy to put together, it took me a little longer bc I was doing it by myself and some parts were heavy…and I have shoulder issues. But all in all very easy and looks great.I do have two extra pieces that are not listed on the instructions (last 2 pictures), they look like shelves but are much smaller than the actual shelves and the edges are rough unlike the actual shelves ??♀️
